Director: After School
Our purpose is to offer children a loving, Christian environment, a quality educational experience and developmentally appropriate activities that meet individual needs and inspire children to learn and grow.
We believe Christian educational programs should be marked by academic excellence that nurtures the physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development children need to excel.
Our academic objectives are to provide a program that will encourage growth and development in the areas of phonics, math, language arts, science, social skills, and motor skills, as well as improve emotional, physical, mental and spiritual development. Age-appropriate activities will be used to guide and encourage development.
iXL Academy Preschool has adopted the Wee Learn curriculum which reflects our preschool’s philosophy and goals. The series utilizes adevelopmental approach to teaching preschoolers, which covers all areas of a child’s development including language and literacy, cognitive, social/emotional, physical, and spiritual. Teachers will incorporate a variety of other daily activities including large and small group interaction, alternation periods of quiet and active play, daily outdoor experiences (weather permitting), and music and movement.
iXL Academy is a ministry of Temple Baptist Church designed to serve families in our community by providing safe, supervised preschool and after school programs. We encourage all students and parents to develop a commitment to Christ by attending a local Bible believing church on a regular basis. Please feel free to visit Temple Baptist Church if you are not currently attending a local church. For more information go to our website at www.tbcsullivan.com
Welcome! We are glad that you are interested in iXL Academy Christian Preschool. We understand that preschool is in many ways the foundation for a child’s early education and we know parents in our community have a lot of options when it comes to choosing who will instruct and care for their children. We count it a privilege to partner with parents in the early education of their children and it is our goal to create a safe and happy environment where our students will thrive both academically and spiritually.
Preschool Goals: It is our goal that through iXL Academy Preschool children will become adept at letter recognition and phonetic blending, number identification, and concepts, along with increased vocabulary skills and full knowledge of the proper behaviors necessary to enter a kindergarten classroom. The daily care and guidance for each child is very important to our staff and it is our hope that each family will feel comfortable and loved here. If you have questions or would like to schedule a time to meet with our director please contact Mrs. Hannah Huitt @ (573) 468-8044 ext. 118 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

We are excited about joining with you in creating a safe and encouraging environment where your child will thrive both academically and spiritually.
After School Goals: Our goal for the after school program is to assist students with homework and academic enrichment that encourages scholastic, social, and spiritual development. iXL Academy provides a safe, supervised setting for students to complete homework, receive special tutoring, and to participate in other activities that provide opportunities for continued physical, intellectual, and social growth and maturity.
