iXL Academy Preschool
Established in 2012, iXL Academy Preschool is a state-regulated, license-exempt preschool featuring a classroom setting, Christian preschool curriculum, and a safe, structured environment.
Preschool Goals:
Preschool education is a valuable resource that nurtures a developing child’s social, educational, and cognitive well-being. It is our goal that through iXL Academy Preschool your child will become adept at letter recognition and phonetic blending, number identification, and concepts, along with increased vocabulary skills and full knowledge of the proper behaviors necessary to enter a kindergarten classroom. The daily care and guidance for each child is very important to our staff and it is our hope that each family will feel comfortable and loved here.

iXL Academy features the following:
FLEXIBLE OPTIONS
We provide multiple program options to give parents the flexibility they need. Parents are able to choose the number of days (2-day, 3-day, or 5-day) as well as the number of hours (extended-day or full-day). In addition, we provide an early drop-off option as early as 6:30 a.m.
FALL & SUMMER TERMS
iXL Academy offers two terms each year. Our fall term is nine months and runs from August through May. Our summer term is two months and runs from June through July.
CONSISTENCY AND STRUCTURE
We know your preschooler needs consistency and structure. We want the children in our program to feel safe and secure, to feel loved and happy, and to know what is expected of them. We provide structured learning and activities everyday that are intermixed with just the right amount of free play. We know this is the kind of environment your child needs to learn, develop, grow, and succeed.
QUALIFIED STAFF
iXl Academy Preschool features an experienced and skilled staff who love children. Many of our teachers have been with the iXL program for years. Our teaching staff meets all the state requirements for a regulated license-exempt program including CPR/First Aid training, appropriate background checks, and registration with the Family Care Safety Registry.
PRESCHOOL EDUCATION
It is our goal to help preschoolers develop in the areas of phonics, numbers, language arts, science, social skills, and motor skills. We offer developmentally appropriate activities and experiences designed to aid in cognitive and social development to prepare them for Kindergarten.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT
iXl Academy is regulated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and meets all the requirements. Each school year our building is inspected by Health and Sanitation, the Fire Marshall’s office, Sullivan Fire Department, and DESE. We also have a buildings and grounds committee that inspects monthly. Our building features remotely monitored doors, a video camera surveillance system, and a fire sprinkler system. We take the safety of the children in our care very seriously.
CHRISTIAN VALUES
Our staff model Christian values and character, setting an example for the children in our care. Our preschoolers will hear Bible stories, participate in prayer, listen to Christian music, and participate in Christian holidays. It is our hope that the children in iXL will develop concepts of Christian living and learn about God’s love for us.
