Our After School program is for school-aged students from kindergarten through age 14.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

AFTER SCHOOL OBJECTIVES

At iXl Academy, your student will be with caring adults who are available to help them grow academically, emotionally, and socially. Our goal is to provide a structured environment where teachers and volunteers are available for students if they need homework assistance as well as provide students with educational, phyical, and social activities. 

Flexible Options

We provide After School Care five days per week while public school is in session. Parents can choose to enroll their students in our five-day program or opt for fewer days per week. Students can ride the School Bus to iXL Academy.  

In addition, we offer transportation services to students in the Spring Bluff School District for an additional fee. 

Academic Enrichment

iXL Academy After School is more than just child care. Students are given a light snack, provided with time to complete homework, and have opportunities to participate in educational activities, physical activities, and social activities that foster development and growth. 

Safe Environment

Working parents can have peace of mind knowing their student is safe and well cared for at iXL Academy. A primary goal of iXL After School is to provide a safe place for students to “hang out” during out-of-school hours, rather than being at home unsupervised. 

Consistency and Structure

When students are home alone after school, they may make unhealthy choices. Whether it is snacking on junk food or choosing video games over homework, students who are unsupervised often lack the consistency and structure that is needed for their development. After School programs give students structure, social interaction, healthy snacks, and time for physical activity. We provide an opportunity for your student to make better choices in the afternoon hours.
